Storytelling portfolio

Some weeks ago, I decided to create a portfolio for some of my newer digital illustrations. While I was deciding about were to put every illustration, I decided to make something different with this one. I know a portfolio should be simple and to show what you can do, your best works. Well, maybe I didn't make it THAT simple, but you can be sure I had a lot fun with it.

So, here is my "portfolio", or how I decided to call it, my "storytelling portfolio". I took some of my illustrations, which I used to create a "story" with them and a little of text. Not a real portfolio, but a silly, funny one!.

This one is interactive, you only need to click on every green "flag" to go to the next page (or to go back), till all animation is done :). I want to thank my sister for helping me with ideas to create this portfolio, and "to animate" it to post it in my blog. It was great to do something creative together after such a long time... we need to do it more we grew more and more exited about this little silly thing with each day!!

I will try to post something new here tomorrow, as this week I have a trip to the north of my country which is consuming my time... I hope once all this chaos is finished I can go back to my scheldule. In case I can't post anything tomorrow, see you next week!!

Wash tub

This little boy is ready to endure adventures, fights... and bubbles getting in his eyes! This little wash tub is his ship, be afraid!

I remember, when I was little, I played a lot in my grandmother's old metal wash tub. I also freshen with it a lot during summer. I think my glad my grandmother kept that kind of "old traditions" with me, as I have more sweet memories bathing in these kind of wash tub in our patio than in an actual bathtub. No fear to get water out of it!!

Also, this week is being a busy one again, and next week even more, if possible!! I will be out next week on a travel during three days, so I need everything to be ready for this day >. To travel makes me feel really stressful an uneasy... Will I miss something? What if I lost the train? Well, just the usual for me. I will tell you about it soon.

Fair

Illustration I made last month for CoSfera as a present to celebrate my city's fair (I made it after joking with one of their coworkers about this idea). These children are wearing CoSfera's logo over their costumes! Time to celebrate coworking in Cordoba ;)!.

Now back to work, this week will be crazy and I won't be online as much as I would like, but at least I wanted to post something this week here... :(.

Wine glass

It looks like someone got a little carried away. Now to sleep a little ;)

Again one of my dear "cups"!! It's been a long time since last time I posted one here (and it's not because of the lack of ideas or sketches. I have many of them to keep with this series for a while, but I just need to get time to go back to them... I will try my best with them little by little!!).

It looks like this month I will be moving and even travelling a little, and I need to prepare many things during these days... I really want time to stop... but I can do it!!

Soft swing

Soft swing as if wanting to rock nature to sleep until next spring.

For this illustration I imagined some kind of spring goddess who would take care of nature. I thought to draw her as a mother rocking her "baby" to have sweet dreams.

Something a little different this time. Also one of those illustrations I was working for a time related to flowers, spring, and so... I don't know what got me that time, ok? I have some of them ready to show you here in the future, just be patient!!
