Flower fairy

This illustration has been on my computer for a few weeks (even months), I thought it was the right moment to show it here!! Better late than never.

This girl is the character design I created of a little "flower fairy" for this illustration some months ago. To design her I thought of ballerinas. I wanted her hair to look like leaves, with a flower on top of it. She is my representation of those first little flowers which blossom at the start of spring.

After sketching this girl I have a little "obsessed" with nature and similar. So expect more illustration with this "theme" in the future ;)

Breakfast girl

This girl is not a morning girl... or maybe it's just not her day.

Little test I made to play with colors while designing a new character at the same time. I wanted to draw a kid with a teapot-like hat for a long time, so I couldn't resist it anymore!. Look, she's so angry or agitated she's even getting vapour out of it!! It was fun to draw!

This week I want to draw even more things than this one! the're many things I want to try... Also, I got some news to tell you soon! Something different about what I've been doing lately, but it's a nice chance, and I hope I can get (and to learn) the better out of it!! ;)

Duck bath

Those days are being really hot here!! The weather is terrible during summer where I live, so I thought it was the right time to show this illustration!!

Anyway, this week was a really busy one, with the visit of a friend from another city, and later a photo shoot. It was really fun having our friend here!! there's many things I want to start now thanks to this visit... lets see what will it turn out at he end. I can't wait to meet her again!! Yesterday, I participated in a photo session, with myself as a model this time!! it was a nice change. Even if I'm not a good model at all, I had fun, but it was also really tiring at the end... I will tell you soon about these photos!!

So now back to work! This week was a "free" one for me!! (and I write "free" in quotations for more than a reason!), but now I need to keep up with lost time. Have fun and see you!!

Turtle

After some time here is a new animal. A turtle this time playing with water ;)! I already said I have two little turtles, I'm fond of them, I can't help myself.

Anyway, this week was a really productive one for me!!. I already have some new and finished illustrations to show you for a while (plus those I already have planned to show you really soon here). I think that little trip helped me to get new energy, that thing people say about "new air". Let's keep this mood up!

But for now, these next days we have a visit, so I won't be able to be on the internet as much as I would like, but it will be fun! and I'm sure I will get new strength of this little "break" for a long time!.

Jump to the final prize

This little cookie just wants a milk bath... it's just delicious!! ;)

Finally I got time to keep working on my illustrations!! I have many of them to finish and many ideas to start working with!! I can't wait!

I also got back from my little travel to he north of my country, Gerona (Barcelona), to go to the Forum Implusa 2014. Even if I got really tired at the end (the last day I almost couldn't sleep at all), I had a lot fun there and I met a lot of nice people I hope I can meet again. I also went there to some talks and a little workshop. I hope I can get advantage of all I learnt there!! At least I'm motivated enough to keep on doing my best.

By the way, yesterday I couldn't post anything here, as I had some problem with this illustration (and Photoshop), also blogger wasn't too cooperative, but everything is fine now! Better late than never!!
