Working on it

Another illustrations I made last year, playing with lettering this time. I wanted to try something more "lengthened" than usual.

"Working on it", I thought it was the right time to post it here in my blog, I'm ready and with energy to keep going and to trynew things! Too many things to do and things I wanna try... I started the year with colds (yeah, plural), but I want the rest of it to be a good one!

Something a little different this time, it's a little sketch I made in my sketchbook, last year, using black ink and grey markers. It relax me to try this kind of thing in it from time to time :)

I have prepared next illustrations to show you, the ones I made during last year. And some new ready to be show in the future here. There are many things I want to do during this year... I hope I get enough energy, and inspiration, to start and to finish them properly. There's still a long way to go, but better not to let time goes by too fast. Step by step but without stop!

Chocolate with churros

Time to eat churros with hot chocolate (especially now that it looks like cold will "finally" arrive where I live).

By the way! I made a calendar with some of these cups of mine. Actually, this one was chosen for "January"! I sold them at the art market celebrated in my old school. I will try to get a photo of it once I get to make a new one (out of stock)

Also, finally I am back here after some busy days (in Spain it's been holidays till January 6th). Really, I just need some time to get to finish all the things I left undone (and to show you those I still didn't post here). Oh well, little by little :)

Now time to work, I really hope you have a nice start of the year!

Tradition in Spain

It really is! to wear red underwear to receive the new year will bring you love and good luck! There're more, like eating 12 grapes with each peal of the cloth at 00:00, but I had no time to draw it... maybe later?.

In my country new year will be here soon, so it's my way to wish you a great new year 2015. It was a good year for me, relaxed, but that helped me to prove myself many things and to make sure about what matter.

Love what you have (and I'm not talking only about your possessions), and work hard for what you really want and wish, even if it takes some time. You can do it!! See you next year!! ;)

Almost there

Santa is always in a hurry (even if now he can rest a little till next year)

This Holiday is great to draw Christmas related works. I feel like a little kid again... So, even you are not a little kid anymore, try to have fun and enjoy it as when we were children.

New Year's Eve is almost here, so have fun!! What do you wish for the new year?

This little cupcake reindeer want to wish you Happy Holidays!!

It's something I made for the art market where I recently participated, a little set of four stickers for this winter theme (as tags for presents, it's just the version without its text).

After the market I decided to take a little break (as I also got a strong cold too, I needed to recover). Just let me tell you everything went quite fine, better than expected, and that I'm very happy with how people reacted to everything on the table, and their opinion. I got my flu there (together with my sister who also participated), but it was deserved for sure. Thank you to everyone who went there ;)!
